Full description
Create your own magical fairytale with a stay in the tallest folly in the UK, grandly nestled in scenic Kent countryside.

Once upon a time there was a Grade I listed folly, named The Hadlow Tower.  This striking folly was originally built in the 19th century, and today it stands at 175 feet high, making it the tallest of its kind in the UK. In recent years, The Hadlow Tower's contemporary and luxurious restoration won the prestigious Angel Award, and now all who stay in this stunning holiday property can live happily ever after!

With opulent accommodation magnificently spread over five floors (with a handy passenger lift if you'd rather not take the spiral staircases), it's easy to picture the beginning of your very own enchanted fable in this captivating location.

360-degree panoramic views over fresh Kent countryside await you outside, whilst inside you'll be treated to all the plush furnishings, rich colours and indulgent styling you might expect from your average fairytale castle!

Gather your favourite people together to luxuriate in three baroque, story-themed bedrooms (all you need to decide is whether you'd prefer a starring role as Red Riding Hood, Snow White or Rapunzel), with a spare room on the second floor for any extra guests.

Enter your stunning accommodation through the Tower's exhibition centre on the ground floor, packed with fascinating stories about the folly's history as part of a grand castle, and later as a vital observation post during the Second World War.

On the first floor, discover a spacious kitchen and dining room with pristine wooden flooring and a beautiful stained-glass ideal setting for catch-ups over wine and nibbles.

The second floor is home to a cosy drawing room (complete with plenty of comfortable seating that's ideal for curling up with a good book), featuring amazing views through gently arched windows. Here you'll also find an indulgent bathroom, equipped with plenty of fluffy cotton towels, and a snug spare bedroom.

The third floor boasts the lavish, ensuite Snow White bedroom, together with the dazzling Red Riding Hood room, all featuring downy bedding and enthralling design.

Head to the fourth floor, and to the silver-toned Rapunzel bedroom, complete with its curtained double bed, a bespoke dressing room and stunning mezzanine ensuite...and your fairytale break is complete!

For extra pampering, why not arrange for champagne on arrival, a private chef to prepare a special meal, or a tasty hamper to take into the countryside on a day out?

If you decide to venture away from your charming tower, you'll find plenty of holiday entertainment for all ages and tastes all around you.

Why not begin by taking an invigorating country stroll, or perhaps heading to the white sandy beaches of Camber Sands, just a short drive away?  Canoeing or kayaking on the River Medway will satisfy more adventurous types, while culture vultures may prefer an evening at the nearby Tonbridge Oast Theatre - or even a tour of the local gin distillery!

The charming medieval manor house, garden and estate of Ightham Mote and the 14th century Bodiam Castle - both National Trust properties - are within easy reach, as is Leeds Castle, known as 'the loveliest castle in the world', with a history spanning over 900 years.

Come and begin your 21st century fairytale break at The Hadlow Tower, and you may find that all your holiday wishes will come true.
