Full description
Cool and quirky communal living in a converted chapel, perfectly positioned beside the River Wye close to the Brecon Beacons.

The ideal setting to reconnect with a group of your favourite people, Bunkhouse Chapel, a stylishly converted chapel building, has been awarded five stars by Visit Wales.  The chapel has also featured in GQ magazine, which declared it "perfect for passed-out stags" due to its dorm-style bunks and open-plan living space!

However, groups of all descriptions will find plenty to enjoy at the Bunkhouse Chapel, surrounded by the idyllic backdrop of the Black Mountains and Brecon Beacons National Park that mean whether you're inside or outside, you can savour the very best views.

Cleverly designed for communal comfort, whilst ensuring everybody gets as much privacy as possible, you'll find plenty of contemporary flourishes within this grand, high-ceilinged building that ensure you'll have all you need for a chilled-out and relaxing break.  For example, how about a slide instead of stairs, or a private table-tennis area to keep the more competitive members of the group fully entertained?

A large, sociable living area features an enormous sofa and a wood-burning stove...perfect for congregating around over morning mugs of coffee and lively conversation.  The fantastic sound system means you can set the perfect background mood at any time...while good mobile coverage and WiFi will keep any unsociable group members well-occupied!

Enjoy plenty of home-prepared meals in the fully-equipped kitchen and dining space, or how about pre-ordering meals to be delivered during your stay, if nobody feels like cooking on holiday? A private outdoor terrace area is the ideal place to begin your evening, equipped with a few cheeky glasses of bubbles, of course.

When it's time for bed, prepare for the greatest teenage-style sleepover you never had, with the 12-bunk communal sleeping area that's primed for late-night conversation peppered with plenty of giggles!  Each privately-spaced and cosy single pod bunk comes fully equipped with fresh cotton sheets, charging points and reading lights.

Three power-shower rooms with WC will ensure there's no queuing for freshening-up, and you'll also find an additional king-sized bedroom for those who want to enjoy slightly more privacy!   This room can also be made into a twin if preferred.

Stocking up on essentials is easy, with a shop (and a pub!) within short walking distance.  To make travelling further afield slightly easier, why not hire a bike or a Vespa and whizz around the stunning countryside in style?

You'll find picturesque Hay-on-Wye just a few miles away, with a scenic route that showcases some of the very best Welsh mountain views you will ever see.

Canoeing and kayaking are popular watery activities...whilst closer to home you'll find a restaurant with fantastic river views (not to mention a great selection of yummy food) just next door to the chapel!

With so much to see and do both inside and outside of this fabulous chapel, it won't be hard to grab your favourite group to gather together in worship, for a memorable break that will have you relaxing and reconnecting in no time at all.
