Treehouse Hideaway Spa is a dreamlike Kentish escape for two adults in need of sublime relaxation, rich in rustic luxury and boasting plenty of space to stretch out, unwind, and just breathe easy awhile.

Your sumptuous accommodation comprises two combined hexagonal pods, cleverly nestled atop tree trunk pedestals. Elevated six metres above the ground, among whispering willows, conifers, and fruit trees, you’ll feel as though you’ve stepped into the pages of an age-old woodland fairytale.

Inside awaits a soothing blend of whimsical wood-crafted décor, soft furnishings, and mod-cons that make holiday life feel extra-special, such as toasty underfloor heating and a dishwasher. Arched doorways and hand-carved accessories – including a gloriously creative kitchen sink! – will inspire plenty of childish delight. There’s a soft-glowing log burner and a Smart TV for evenings spent snuggled up on the sofa, and a cosy dining area for soft-lit suppers fuelled with catch-up stories and laughter. When it’s finally time for slumber, you’ll find the dreamy kingsize bedroom primed for sound nights of sleep and lazy lie-ins alike.

While the shower room is perfect for freshening up in – particularly if you plan to head out and explore Kent in all its garden-like glory! – you’ll also have a warming hot tub to relax in. There’s a dedicated spa area, too, available as a bookable extra (charged separately) that comes complete with a sauna, a cold plunge barrel, and a cool al fresco shower.

If you can bear to leave your new-found sanctuary, you’ll find there’s plenty to see and do practically on the doorstep. For starters, there’s a friendly, food-serving country pub in walking distance – ideal for those times when you’d rather let someone else do the cooking (though if you’d really rather not leave, takeaway deliveries can be arranged right to your door!).

Treehouse Hideaway Spa is also perfectly situated near the seaside town of Whitstable and the UNESCO World Heritage city of Canterbury, so there’ll be no shortage of sightseeing, shopping, and coastal activities to keep you occupied during your stay.

History buffs will adore visiting Canterbury Cathedral, which dates all the way back to 579AD, or the romantic Leeds Castle, where popular concerts are held during the summer months. You could also head into Whitstable and enjoy a dish of its famous oysters, or simply stretch out your towels on the peaceful, promenade-free beaches.

But of course, to indulge in all this would mean having to tear yourselves away from Treehouse Hideaway Spa… which could prove to be the ultimate holiday challenge!
