The open-plan living area is ideal for catching up on life over drinks…or if you prefer, catching up with the latest trends or box sets from the Smart TV. Simply fire up the warming log burner, and your evenings are blissfully complete.

Feast preparations are made easy in the rustic hand-built kitchen, beautifully equipped with everything you need to make like a celebrity chef on a well-deserved country retreat!

The master bedroom boasts a sumptuous king-sized bed and views that overlook fauna-filled Druidstone Wildlife Park, while a second king-sized bedroom comes complete with an indulgent copper bath tub. Further along, an stylish bathroom includes underfloor heating, a rainfall shower and plenty of fluffy towels.

Enjoy a heavenly night’s sleep, then get preparing a hearty breakfast with plenty of fresh coffee…you’ll need to keep up your energy for all the fun-filled days ahead!

New to the lodge is the addition of a unique and cosy Treehouse Snug, complete with a stargazing roof, a crackling wood-burning stove, and a private deck with wine cooler, the perfectly relaxing and romantic space, and also where you can propose to your loved one or arrange renewal of vows.

Kent is well-known for its diverse attractions at every turn, from romantic castles and historic houses, to secret gardens and fresh air-filled adventure. Of course, with twelve-acre Druidstone Wildlife Park and all its attractions set just next door, why not begin with a ramble through enchanted woodland drenched in seasonal fauna and full of friendly wildlife?

Further afield, Canterbury Cathedral and Dover Castle provide scenic settings for days out, while the beautiful beaches dotted along the Kent coastline have been awarded with nine Blue Flags – ideal for taking a refreshing swim, or relaxing with a good book.

If travelling too far away from your relaxing lodge sounds a little too strenuous, don’t worry! The Royal Oak pub is set just fifty yards from your holiday home, serving delicious food and filled with plenty of country charm.

This is an adult only retreat, children accepted by prior arrangement only, unable to accommodate single sexed groups (hen/stag parties) without prior arrangement. Minimum stay is 2 nights Fri-Sat arrivals and 1 night for Sun-Thurs arrivals. A maximum of 2 dogs are permitted to stay, please bring your own dog bowls and bedding. Optional extras such as use of woodburning sauna, early arrival/late departure etc also available at an extra charge – please check website for details.
