The Nova Dome is part of a collection of luxurious and authentically off-grid retreats: each one designed and built to showcase the awe-inspiring natural beauty of their surroundings.

The Fold itself forms part of a much-loved family-run farm and woodland pasture in Herefordshire. Current owner Matthew grew up here, with fond childhood memories of playing in the fields and splashing around in the streams that wind their way through the land.

A professional builder, Matthew felt inspired to craft each off-grid retreat in a way that offers an abundance of luxury, while making no negative impact on the environment. As such, you’ll find the Nova Dome showcases truly jaw-dropping views… of lush, gently sloping hills through the far side window, or of twinkling stars through the custom-made skylight, right above your bespoke kingsize bed.

Admire endless scenes of unspoilt nature from the expansive deck, on which you’ll find a wood-fired hot tub for good measure. There’s also a covered cooking area with a barbecue and pizza oven for sublime al fresco dining, while inside the dome awaits a charming kitchen area with a gas hob.

On cooler afternoons, the inviting sofa is perfect for curling up with a good book and a glass of wine, with plenty of comforting warmth from the wood-burning stove. Maybe you’ll start willing on ‘bad’ weather, just so you can listen to the soothing, rhythmic sound of raindrops tapping on the roof!

When it’s finally time for bed, simply climb the stairs to your mezzanine sleeping space-with-a-view, adorned with gentle night-lights.

After a lazy morning of conversation and moka-pot coffee out on the deck, freshen in up in the hand-made shower cabin, a few steps away from your dome. Here you’ll also find a compost loo, with a sink just outside.
