At Beacon Hill Farm, perfectly nestled between the Cheviot Hills and the Northumberland Heritage Coast, you'll discover two stunning shepherds' huts on the site of an ancient beacon that once experienced, will elevate your idea of a traditional glamping holiday!
You'll be spoilt for choice when it comes to scenic views, as the farm's 360 acre estate is steeped in authentic Iron Age history and includes a 40-acre beech wood, a rippling lake and plenty of lush foliage all around.
Whatever direction you happen to be looking in, you're bound to see something magical...even at night, as Beacon Hill is located on the border of Dark Sky Park, the very best place in England to enjoy a spot of truly dazzling stargazing.
The two Hideaways, Bluegrass and Ryegrass (Ryegrass will be open in May 2017), are each perfect for a cosy romantic break for two, and include all the creature comforts you might expect from a plush hotel suite. Privately situated in a tranquil wildflower meadow - the very best site on Beacon Hill! - you'll experience the very best of indoor and outdoor living.
The Hideaways are fully heated, and include electricity and WiFi (with a Bose Bluetooth speaker included if you feel like setting the perfect musical mood!).
The spacious living area includes all you need to simply sit back and relax, and when it's time to dine you'll find everything you need to whip up a romantic feast - perhaps followed by a glass of wine as you snuggle up in front of the wood burning stove. There's also a fire pit and barbecue outside for al-fresco dining under a starry canvas.
When it's time to turn in, you'll find the bedroom is gorgeously comfy with a luxury five-foot bed, perfectly positioned for you to enjoy refreshing beech wood views as you wake. The bathroom is well-equipped with a warming shower and a flushing toilet.
Of course, any plush hotel worth its salt includes a relaxing spa...and Beacon Hill doesn't disappoint, with a beautiful spa just a short walk away from your doorstep - simply put your slippers on and stroll on over through the gardens.
The spa is a treasure trove of luxurious treats waiting to be sampled, including a heated swimming pool along with a black granite-walled steam room, Canadian redwood sauna and a Laconium therapy room with spectacular views across the gardens as you relax into the heated beds - a truly magnificent treat!
