The off-grid, design-led Red Cabin is perfectly positioned to showcase sweeping views over the magnificent Somerset Levels and the River Parrett. And while you’ll feel as though it’s just you and the universe here, there’s an award-winning pub in walking distance, and a working vineyard just a few fields away.
Better still, this lovingly-crafted and sustainable sanctuary contains all the wellness facilities you could possibly want. Your private spa includes a wood-fired sauna, with a combined hot tub and cold plunge pool out on the deck – the perfect accompaniment to those incredible natural views.
Inside awaits a comforting, clean-lined, Scandi-inspired space that blends perfectly with nature. The kingsize bed features breathable bedding and a luxurious hotel-quality mattress for sound nights of slumber, with a small single and an extra bed on request for small families or groups of friends.
Whip up mouth-watering creations with help from your wood-burner’s pizza shelf – there’s also a kitchen with all the equipment you’ll need for meals and snacks – or head outside and cook in the fresh, open air. If you’re staying in, the Bluetooth speaker will help set the perfect background mood, while a thoughtful selection of books, games, and art supplies will keep you nicely entertained.

Later on, why not pack a picnic and find a favourite woodland spot? You’ll find plenty of opportunity for wild swimming close by, too.
If you’d rather head back into civilisation for a while, the charming riverside village of Langport is mere minutes away. Here you can browse independent shops and craft workshops, enjoy a slap-up meal (or ‘proper’ coffee and cake at The Bridge, which is highly recommended!) and take languorous strolls by the River Parrett.
You’re also well-positioned to visit the nearby towns, including Taunton and Glastonbury – the latter being just 20 minutes away by car – for an enthralling stay to suit every holiday taste.
