Renovated with love and care, The Brandy Bus is a vintage double-decker bus that now enjoys permanent pride of place in the lush suburbs of Karen, Nairobi (the area is named after Karen Blixen, whose famous memoir Out of Africa is set here).
A heart-warming riot of colour and culture, the bus sleeps up to six guests in two top-deck double bedrooms, and two comfy singles that serve as squishy, cushion-topped sofas by day.
Everything you’ll need is on board, such as kitchen facilities that include a fridge and a microwave (with plenty of recipe books thrown in for inspiration), and a gorgeous safari-themed bathroom!
But we’re willing to bet you’ll spend most of your time outside… whether you’re visiting the nearby elephant orphanage, exploring Nairobi’s breath-taking National Park, or just relaxing on the sun loungers, savouring the immense natural beauty of this amazing slice of paradise.
