What to do once you’ve settled in?  Laze on the beach with a good book, take a scenic hike, or pay a mesmerising visit to Watamu National Marine Park and Reserve, part of a UN-recognised biosphere reserve.  With its protected green turtles and coral gardens that are home to around 600 species of fish, it’s one of the loveliest places in the world to go snorkelling… or if you prefer, relax on a glass-bottomed boat tour!
