A working livestock ranch and a much-loved wildlife conservancy that stretches out for 56,000 acres, Loisaba is perfectly located in Kenya’s Northern Laikipia region. With two flowing rivers and a plethora of natural springs, there is a huge variety of wildlife to feast your eyes upon here, all surrounded by expansive, rolling landscapes.

The Loisaba Starbeds are a striking selection of handcrafted four-poster beds.  Cleverly constructed on wheels, the beds are rolled onto raised wooden platforms, to provide you with the most jaw-dropping views of the enormous, star-studded night sky.

To ensure plenty of comfort, there’s also a cosy communal area complete with a dining room, a cosy cushion-filled sitting room with an open fire, and a wooden deck that’s ideal for morning coffee.

And if you thought you’d be roughing it for bathroom facilities, think again!  The selection of beautiful, brass-fitted bathrooms provide plenty of natural opulence.

During your stay, you’ll be guided and hosted by a team of traditional Samburu and Laikipia Maasai Warriors, plus you’ll have the chance to view the resident hippo family up close.  The nearby Kiboko Waterhole is also a vital water source for passing game, meaning you’ll never know just who might drop by for a visit!

If you’ve always loved the idea of the sky as your bedroom ceiling, and the hills as your walls, then look no further.
