Strawberryfield Park is anything but your typical ‘holiday lodge park’.

First off, you’ll find the 23 sumptuous, architect-designed eco lodges set amongst 14 beautiful Somerset acres, all run by a small and exceptionally friendly family team.

Second off, each lodge is individually styled for comfort and indulgence, with thoughtful attention to detail throughout. Think bespoke furnishings, original artworks, and high-end accessories, with deep, soft beds, and opulent bathrooms for starters.

Third off, each lodge comes with its very own bubbling hot tub…ideal for sunset-watching with a well-deserved glass of something chilled!

Each lodge sleeps 2 or 4 guests, making them ideal for couples, families, or groups of friends. Some are even dog-friendly, meaning your best four-legged friend gets to join in the holiday fun, too.

So, exactly which lodge should you choose? We’re ready to admit, with such a gorgeous selection on offer, you might find it hard to choose a favourite.

Ours include Cheddar Pink, one of the largest lodges for 4.  Boasting floor-to-ceiling windows and pastel pink tones throughout, the open-plan living space floods with daylight, while the Bang & Olufsen Smart TV helps idle evenings along.

More information

Two stylish king-size bedrooms (complete with their own dressing rooms!) set the scene for sound nights’ sleep, while the white-gloss kitchen is packed with appliances worthy of the best chefs.  Enjoy those feasts out on the decked terrace, with the Mendip Hills and Somerset Levels as your backdrop.

Or how about Orchard Lodge, a private paradise for two? Not only can you enjoy the delights of your partially sunken Jacuzzi hot tub, there’s a twinkling starlight ceiling that adds an irresistible glow to the decked terrace – simply fire up the barbecue, and that’s romantic evenings in covered.

The Retreat, meanwhile, is a two-bedroom lodge that oozes both country charm and lavish luxury, with its wood-burning stove, squishy sofa, and well-stocked bookcase (though there’s a 40″ flatscreen TV and Blu-Ray player if you’d prefer a family movie night!)

In the unlikely event that you’re in the mood to leave your lodge, there are some fantastic walking routes, including the West Mendip Way, right from the doorstep. Otherwise, jump in the car and head for the timelessly quaint village of Cheddar, just ten minutes away.

There are plenty of little shops to browse through (and plenty of that famous cheese to sample!) – while the breathtaking view from Jacob’s Ladder has to be seen to be appreciated.

Spoil yourself when you return, with even more magnificent views from the comfort of your south-facing deck – and why not indulge in a hot-tub dip as the sun starts to set? You’re on holiday, after all.

What the guests of Strawberryfield Park say

“We love this place, it’s our 5th time and won’t be our last. We have stayed in a different lodge each time and all of them cannot be faulted. Beautiful lodges, beautiful setting and the most relaxing weekend you could wish for. We truly recommend Strawberry fields for a treat to get away from everyday stresses! Thanks again, we will be back!”

“Lovely lodge, great  hot tub and a wonderful location. Fantastic weekend away to celebrate our anniversary!”

“Strawberry Field Park was absolutely lovely. Our lodge Pamelas Meadow was very comfortable and spotlessly clean. We were even welcomed by the owner at the lodge shortly after arrival just to check if everything was ok which was a lovely touch. Combined with its superb location we will certainly be coming back soon.”
