Seljalandsfoss Horizons was created by a warmly welcoming Icelandic family, who strongly believe that guests should feel properly at home while exploring their beautiful and fascinating country.

As such, the lodges and studio apartments you’ll discover here offer a perfect blend of luxury and comfort – as well as the most spectacular views through panoramic windows.

The retreat is peacefully set close to the iconic Seljalandsfoss waterfall, which isn’t only large enough to stand inside, but has featured in a plethora of films and music videos… so in other words, a must-visit! That is, if you’re able to leave your sanctuary-like space.

Each lodge or apartment sleeps up to four guests in two comfy bedrooms. The lodges boast loft rooms that are ideal for stargazers, while the apartments showcase jaw-dropping mountain views straight from the queensize beds.

Whichever you choose, you can expect unique Nordic design details, along with all the holiday conveniences you could ask for… including a hairdryer, a Bluetooth speaker, and Nespresso coffee to help charge your mornings. There’s even a TV to keep you entertained on snuggly evenings in.

While there are plenty of places to visit close by (Reykjavik is less than two hours away by car) you’ll feel blissfully secluded from the rest of the world. All the better for watching the Northern Lights dance across those enormous, pitch-dark night skies.
