More information

Naturally, there are plenty of beautifully-furnished spaces to relax both inside and out, with reading corner, giant sofa, terrace hanging chair and outdoor sofa. But you’ll also have a choice of blissful soaking-spaces, whether you’re stargazing from your wood-fired hot tub in the courtyard, unwinding among scented bubbles in the golden double bathtub-by-the-bed, or listening to the birdsong from the al fresco terrace tub!

There’s even a Scandi-inspired walk in shower, too: complete with marble sink, soft LED lighting, and fluffy towels, slippers and robes to wrap up in afterwards.

What else? You could whip up a feast in your bespoke kitchen, with its sleek electric oven and hob, hand made locally made ceramics – or go al fresco and prepare the wood-fired pizza oven for a sunset-watching supper. Later, why not snuggle up together with five-star entertainment from your very own cinema-projector, perhaps with an extra treat of popcorn?

(While we’re on the subject of extra treats, upgrading your stay is ridiculously easy with everything from celebration packages to private chef experiences on hand – just ask).

After a sound, silent night’s sleep – well, perhaps peppered with the occasional owl’s hoot! – savour a Nespresso coffee out on the nature-showcasing terrace as you plan the day ahead. For starters, there are 20 acres of winding woodland paths to explore on site… and how about a lunchtime picnic by the river or a game of badmington?

You could wander into Hartland Village in 10 minutes, or take the coast path to Hartland Quay, an enchanting pebble-and-rock beach with the most breathtaking views that’s three miles away. But if you prefer exploring by car, Sandymouth, Instow, Summerleaze, and Westward Ho! beaches are all easily reach-able…
