Owned by an interior designer, Little Norfolk Beach House is an elegantly-restored Regency apartment and romantic seaside bolthole in the beating heart of Cromer.
You’ll find the stylish apartment on the well-known Jetty Street, which is also Cromer’s oldest street. Leading straight to the pier and beach, and with the bustling town centre mere moments away, you’ll never be at a loss for something new to do.
Yet you could find it supremely difficult to leave the apartment, once you’ve settled in! Filled with well-chosen antiques and fascinating curios, sumptuous elements include an original Victorian cast-iron bath for indulgent bubble-soaks, and a mini-Aga for cooking and warmth.
Unwind with a cocktail in the cosy, rich-textured living room; a supreme blend of period features and sleek mod-cons. There’s a designer Bergere sofa to sink into, along with a grandfather clock and a writing desk that hark back to soothing times past. For modern entertainment, simply switch on the Smart TV or play your favourite tunes through crisp Sonos speakers.
The compact kitchen, meanwhile, boasts a Belfast sink and Le Creuset pots, with a small dining table and chairs for romantic suppers in. There’s also a Nespresso machine to charge sunny mornings spent on the small al fresco terrace, gazing over the flower-filled garden and out to sea.
Spend the rest of the day exploring the delights of Cromer, as energetically or as lazily as you like! There’s a surf school for those who like to be active (or try something new), and for keen walkers the owners recommend a cliff path stroll up to the lighthouse and on to Overstrand, for the most incredible views.
For those who like to take things a little slower, why not browse the independent shops and galleries you’ll discover during the course of a ridiculously short wander? You may well discover a few friendly pubs, too!
