Hvaler (“whales” in English) is a beautiful archipelago that resembles a pod of whales, and just happens to benefit from the largest number of sunny days Norway experiences every year!

The charming off-grid cabin you’ll discover on this 10,000 sqm private island is perfect for a small family, or four adults looking for remote relaxation.  Furnished for comfort, there’s a cosy balcony bed, and a two-seated bench that converts into a small double, with downy duvets and linens supplied.

The compact kitchen is equipped with everything you need to whip up home-made meals – there’s a firepit outside too, if you prefer al fresco dining – while a thoughtful supply of candles, books and games provide soft-lit entertainment on snuggly evenings in.

With a motorboat included, the vast archipelago can double as your very own kingdom throughout your stay, as you explore the many different locations.  Or rule the waves instead, as you take a refreshing dip – the choice is yours!
