Å Gløtt is one of a small selection of hand-crafted wooden retreats at Å Camp; a nature-focused sanctuary in the heart of Telemark, Norway. Also known as “the birthplace of skiing”, Å Camp is just 20 minutes away from the protected mountain range at Hardangervidda National Park, so the scenery here is particularly astounding!

The unique circular treehouse is styled and furnished with a cosy mountain cabin in mind, gently elevated among the forest and secluded by the Tessungåe river. Up to six guests can be accommodated here, with essential kitchen and shower facilities provided, and a wood-burning stove for glistening winter evenings.

Secluded by the very best of nature, you can sit back, relax, and let the ever-changing elements soothe your soul. Curl up with a good book and a mug of hot chocolate, or revel in the tranquillity of your surroundings as you gaze at the river and the forest, through the treehouse’s huge windows.

If you feel like venturing out, the camp is home to delights that include a wood-fired sauna, riverside lounge areas, and an outdoor communal kitchen with breath-taking forest views. Perfect after a long day of river swimming, skiing, mountain-hiking… or simply doing nothing at all!
