Nestled amongst unspoilt woodland on a friendly Northumberland farm, there’s a blissful sense of rural paradise at Hillside Huts and Cabins, which you may have spotted in Robson Green’s Weekend Escapes on TV.

Owners Philip and Fiona have worked hard on creating their dreamlike retreat, channelling Philip’s previous experience in travel management, and their combined interest in wildlife and the environment.

As a result, each hut and cabin is bespoke-designed and lovingly hand-built from reclaimed wood, with toasty sheep’s wool insulation and electricity from the farm’s own wind turbine.

Overlooking a wildflower meadow, with glorious views of the Northumbrian coast, you’ll never want to leave… particularly since you’ll also have your own private wood-fired hot tub to help you welcome in the sunset.

Named after the family’s youngest dog, Saba’s Hut is a traditional shepherd’s hut, complete with a stargazing roof and cosy sleeping spaces for a young family of four. After you’ve unwound in the outdoor shower, with views across the rolling countryside, you’ll never want to freshen up inside again!

Perfect for a romantic couple and their well-behaved dog, Tilly’s Hut features a luxurious en-suite power shower, with a furnished deck for lazy afternoon chats over a bottle of wine.

Also named after a much-loved family dog, Lottie’s Cabin is inspired by a pioneer cabin fresh from the Rocky Mountains; a spacious double-storey haven for two with an indulgent freestanding bath.
