The Italian island of Procida is not only the smallest island in the Bay of Naples, it’s also the area’s best-kept secret.
There’s an untouched ‘Garden of Eden’ feel to this gem of an island, affectionately known as the little sister of Capri. Free of bustling tourist hordes, Procida is ideally positioned to explore all the charms of the Bay of Naples and the Amalfi Coast, undisturbed and uninterrupted.
Centrally located on the island, GoOutside have created a refreshing glamping experience, located at the Procida Camp and Resort, that allows you to live blissfully amongst the sweet-scented Mediterranean countryside, whilst surrounded by the unique luxury, style and comfort that are all so typical of Italy.
Choose from four styles of accommodation, all reminiscent of a boutique hotel. Four glistening Airstreams sleep up to four guests each, with huge windows that allow sunlight to flood inside – where there’s a well-equipped kitchenette, a bathroom with plenty of fluffy towels, and a cosy, linen-dressed double bed.
If you’re in a more adventurous mood, the Safari Lodge tents are ideal! Each lodge includes two separate bedrooms, with a kitchen and bathroom close by. Oh – and there’s a stunning veranda for al fresco dining by sunset.
The cotton Nordisk Village tents, meanwhile, are spacious, ultra-modern and ultra-Scandi in style…infused with the cosy concept of “hygge”. Equipped with a kingsize bed and a relaxing seating area, there’s also a shared kitchen for that sense of friendly community. Choose from a tent that sleeps four or two people, each with a separate private bathroom.
Saving the most luxurious until last, the four Garden Suites are deluxe, beautifully furnished havens that feature a generous living zone, a private kitchen and bathroom, and a choice of one or two cosy bedrooms. Think trademark Italian style, transported directly into nature.Keep reading
