A reviving slice of forest living and coastal adventure, based from a cosy eco-cabin at the Edge of paradise.
  • Sleeps: 2-4
  • Bedroom: 1
  • Bathroom: 1
  • Minimum stay: 3 nights

At Culbin Edge, a welcoming eco-cabin sleeping up to four people, you’ll discover a blend of outdoor living with contemporary style and luxury that’s so perfect, you may never want to return to a hectic everyday life.

Culbin Edge is ideally situated on the edge of Culbin Forest, at the top of a bank from where you’ll be able to take in the absolute best of the scenic panorama that awaits you inside and out, with views of open farmland, sweet-smelling pine trees and across the rolling hills of Dava Moor.

Expertly designed to blend with its rustic surroundings and with a modern twist, the cabin features warm oak flooring with high ceilings and windows that allow sunlight to flood inside.  Furnishings include soft armchairs perfect for snuggling along with a good book, with plenty of soft cushions and blankets for a cosy home-from-home feel.   A luxurious walk-in shower with heated towel rail is an incredibly welcome sight after a hard day exploring the wilderness.

The kitchen is in the perfect spot to catch the best of the morning sun – why not enjoy a leisurely breakfast before heading out for the day?  Later on, indulge in a well-deserved barbecue out on the decking…before treating yourself to a relaxing session in the outdoor wood-fired hot tub.  Watch the sun setting over the pine trees, glass of bubbles in hand, as you excitedly plan the next day’s adventure.

There’s a king-size bed ready and waiting for when you’re too tired to continue chatting under the stars, and the living space is designed to be partitioned into an additional sleeping area if needed.

If you can tear yourself away from your forestside haven for a while, you’ll discover a rich array of activity and adventure accessible right from your doorstep.  A wooded trail will lead you to the sandy Moray Coast, considered to be one of the most beautiful parts of Scotland and whose beaches are regularly featured as amongst the very best in the country.  Why not stop for a while and see if you can spot a dolphin or two swimming along the coastline?

Lovers of wildlife are in for a real treat, with an abundance of friendly visitors frequently seen around the area including roe deer, red squirrels and badgers – not to mention the array of beautiful birds, whose cheery singing will lift and revive your mornings!
