Committed to sustainability and completely off-grid, a stay at Beavers Retreat Glamping means getting blissfully back to nature.
Not only do the dedicated owners plant a tree for every booking they receive, but water comes from a natural spring, while the site’s piping hot, high-pressure showers are gravity-fed.
Oh, and since you’ll also be staying in the beating heart of the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park – with the scenic, secluded Manorbier beach just a short distance away – your natural surroundings are guaranteed to be breath-taking!
Perfect for couples, families, and friends (including the four-legged variety) you’ll find 10 furnished domes to choose from, each with its own private flushing loo and a sheltered kitchen area stocked with all the equipment you could want.
You’ll also have your own garden, complete with a picnic bench that’s ideal for morning coffee and afternoon snacks, a barbecue for sunset suppers, and a drinking-water tap to keep yourselves fully refreshed.
All you’ve got to do now is choose a favourite! If you’re part of a romantic couple, a Cosy Dome, complete with a glowing log burner, a downy double bed, and a private wood-fired hot tub, is your holiday dream come true.
(Don’t worry if you couldn’t find a babysitter, since there’s plenty of room for an extra little one).

More information
Brand-new for 2024, the dog-friendly Eco Domes each sleep up to five guests, so nobody has to stay at home. Comfy beds and battery-powered lighting evoke a warm sense of home, though dreamy bay-window views let you know you’re on holiday!
Upgrade to a dog-and-family-friendly XL Dome to add the indulgence of a wood-fired circle hot-tub, or choose an Original Geodome – sleeping up to four guests – which also comes with a private hot tub, plus soft solar lighting and an enormous, scenery-showcasing front window.
Whichever haven you choose, there are hot showers in easy strolling distance, and a wealth of things to do right on your doorstep. Why not begin with an alpaca trek, or a less hands-on ‘Meet and Greet’ with the friendly animals?
Manorbier beach, with its beautiful dune-and-castle backdrop, is under two miles away from the site and an ideal surfing-spot! But if that sounds too energetic, don’t worry, as there are plenty of cafés – and a pub – to while away some time in.
If you’d rather not drive, you’ve got the option of a five-minute stroll to the quaint village of Jameston, with two friendly, food-serving pubs to choose from. Though if you’re willing to jump in the car just for a short while, head to Barafundle Bay or bustling, walled Tenby: an enthralling way to spend a day before returning to your tranquil haven at Beavers Retreat Glamping.
