A quirky, TV-featured grass-roofed storybook house with beautiful countryside views of Pembrokeshire.
  • Sleeps: 4
  • Bedroom: 1
  • Bathroom: External
  • Minimum stay: 2 nights

Featured on ITV Wales’ ‘Coast and Country’ and located on an award-winning glamping site, the Florence Springs Hill House is your refreshing gateway to life in the Great Outdoors.

Set in rural Pembrokeshire and just three miles from the coast, this is natural luxury at its best.  Ideal for a couple or a small family, the Hill House sleeps up to four people in comfort.

Lovingly crafted from natural materials, with a grass and flower covered roof that blends into the natureful surroundings, the secluded house features round doors and windows.  You’ll find plenty of insulation and a woodburner to keep you cosy on colder days. When it’s warmer, your private garden – equipped with seating and an eco wood-burner hot tub – is a real treat to remember.

You’ll find all amenities outside the house, so when you’re inside you can concentrate fully on the blissful holiday pleasures of lounging and sleeping! The covered wood kitchen is fully equipped with essentials, meaning you can pack wonderfully light. Dining, meanwhile, takes on a whole new meaning when you’re enjoying your meals under a star-studded sky.

The house is conveniently equipped with a compost toilet, though if you prefer a flushing loo you’ll find them, along with piping hot showers, in the spacious facilities block nearby.

Authentic to the last, you’ll find no electricity in the Hill House (what better excuse to turn the phone off and reconnect with your loved ones?), though there’s plenty of solar-powered lighting, and a USB solar charging station if you really must stay connected with the outside world.

After a restful sleep and a hearty breakfast, you’ll soon find there’s plenty to explore in the surrounding area. The beautiful blue-flag beaches of Tenby are just three miles from the Florence Springs site, a town that’s ideal for a traditional seaside day out! The picturesque harbour and independent shops make for a wonderful stroll, and with the seaside staple of fish and chips, supper is deliciously covered.
