Aircraft Mach Zero is a dream escape for those who dread take-offs and landings, but crave first-class comfort all the same!
You’ll find the sleek, detail-rich aircraft grounded its own private woodland corner close to the ‘hidden’ Somerset village of Crowcombe, in the Quantock Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Perfect for a romantic couple or a small family – with dogs welcome, too – it’s hard to imagine a lovelier setting for reconnecting with nature, and each-other.
There’s a cosy double bed for sound nights of turbulence-free slumber (if you’re bringing the kids, there’s room for two additional camp beds), with plush window-side chairs for taking your time over morning coffee.
Head to the lounge area for deliciously lazy evenings spent watching TV, or unwinding over good conversation and a bottle of wine. There’s a wood-burning stove for added warmth, and a kitchenette for preparing in-flight catering.
Prefer al fresco dining? No problem: simply fire up the barbecue for a sizzling supper by sunset, followed by a stargazing soak in the wood-fired hot tub, for a blissful way to spend some of that precious holiday time.
Although it will feel like you’re miles away from the hustle and bustle of civilisation, there’s plenty to see and do in the local area. Freshen up in the dedicated shower cabin just a few steps away from your plane accommodation, and get ready to explore.
Crowcombe is one of the stops on the West Somerset Railway, which is the UK’s longest heritage railway that stretches all the way to Minehead – ideal if you feel like swapping planes for trains awhile!
