  • Bathrooms: 2 (+1)
  • Minimum stay: 1 week

Sheepfold and Sheepshed are two architect-designed holiday homes set on a quiet country lane among rolling farmland, offering distant views of the rugged coastline of Bedruthan Steps. Every detail – both inside and out – has been carefully chosen to complement the magnificent surrounding landscape, blending outstanding modern design with respect for this stunning area. From superior insulation and heating supplied by renewable energy sources, to the carefully sourced timber that clads each building, these beautiful homes make for a truly memorable holiday with minimal environmental impact.

Sheepfold sleeps eight people, perfect for a large family or two families holidaying together. Two dogs are also welcome, so the family pooch can join in too! The majority of the accommodation spreads across one floor, and has been expertly designed to make the very best use of space and light. Sunshine floods through floor-to-ceiling glass windows, while inspired interior design creates a contemporary, yet homely, feel.

Throughout Sheepfold, you’ll find a mixture of rustic and industrial furniture, as well as quirky upcycled pieces, from hairpin-leg tables to the attractive dining table with seating for eight. Warm rugs, cosy throws and plush cushions add texture and colour in the bedrooms and living area, while original touches (such as the hand-turned door handles) bring additional artistry to this beautiful home.

Snuggle up on the large, L-shaped sofa in front of the flat-screen TV, while the wood burner crackles away on colder evenings. You’ll find all you need to cook up local Cornish ingredients in the well-equipped kitchen area, ready to be enjoyed in the dining area or on the outdoor patio, which also has sea views.

Two of Sheepfold’s three bedrooms are found on the ground floor. Parents will love the spacious double room with its luxurious en-suite bathroom, while the bunk room is a dream come true for children – thanks to its two sets of bunk beds and climbing wall! The family bathroom is also found down here, while a flight of beautiful wooden stairs takes you up to a truly tranquil double room at the top of the house.

If Sheepfold isn’t quite large enough for your group, adjoining Sheepshed accommodates a further four guests in equally beautiful surroundings, all the while affording considerable privacy for each household.

Sheepshed boasts the same degree of gorgeous simplicity, from the beautifully appointed bedrooms to the stylish living areas. In this single-storey home, you’ll find an open-plan lounge, kitchen and dining area for six, as well as a relaxing double bedroom, a peaceful twin room, and a stunning bathroom with shower.
