Hidden Glamping is a blissful, family-run retreat that’s been crafted with exceptional care. Completely free of digital distraction – there’s no TV or Wi-Fi in site – you’ll also be in prime position to enjoy the Great Outdoors at its natural best.
Secluded by Mawgan Porth Beach in Cornwall, you’ll have no noisy neighbours (unless, perhaps, you count the local birdlife!) and plenty of scope to luxuriate in the beauty and tranquillity you’ll discover here.
Your holiday home is an elegant shepherd’s hut-for-two, which has been lovingly styled with a wealth of attention to detail. There’s a boutique-hotel-room feel to the cosy interior, which includes toasty underfloor heating and a gently curved stargazing rooflight.
What else? Along with a comfy kingsize bed to curl up in, there’s a full-sized shower with fresh towels and luxury eco-friendly toiletries – perfect for freshening up after a long day at the beach.
Outside, meanwhile, awaits a sumptuous Canadian Red Cedar wood-fired hot tub for post-dinner sunset soaks – fluffy robes and a bag of logs thoughtfully provided – and a decked terrace that’s ideal for savouring that first coffee of the day.
While the shepherd’s hut comes equipped with a kitchenette for simple meal and snack preparation, there are plenty of places to eat, drink, and be merry in close by. Among many others, the family owners highly recommend Cornish Fresh for delicious wood-fired pizzas, or The Merrymoor Inn for hearty pub grub with beach views!
The owners are also more than happy to tailor their many suggestions of local activities, places to visit, and hotspots to your interests – just ask. Examples include simply laying out your towel on the Blue Flag-awarded Mawgan Porth Beach itself, or trying your hand (and testing your balance!) at surfing, Cornwall’s favourite pastime.
