Full description
A sweeping, spacious, and spectacular nine-bedroom retreat with hot tub, perfectly nestled above the golden sands at Mawgan Porth, between Newquay and Padstow on the stunning North Cornish coast.

The ideal base from which to explore North Cornwall in all its glory, Blue Bay Beach House occupies a truly beautiful position between Newquay and Padstow.

Gently elevated above the golden sands - and epic rollers - of Mawgan Porth Beach, you'll find surf racks and an outdoor surf shower, all ready and waiting for beginners and pros alike!

A nine-bedroom, nautical-themed haven that sleeps up to 22 guests (and their three well-behaved dogs), you'll also discover beautiful double and twin sleeping spaces generously positioned across both floors... and since each bedroom is en-suite, there'll be no need for awkward morning queues.

When you're awake, there's also a plethora of sociable spots to enjoy, including a huge, open plan lounge that boasts gorgeous coastal views - whatever the weather!

Curl up on one of the many garden-and-sea-view seats at the curved window, enjoy a film on the Smart TV, complete with Sky Sports and Movies, or turn the volume up on the state-of-the-art Bose sound system, which feeds everywhere except the bedrooms!

Meanwhile, eating, drinking, and making merry is more than covered with the stylish, gleaming kitchen, and the 250-year-old wooden dining table that makes a real statement.

(In fact, if you don't feel like doing any cooking, why not take advantage of the dining packages available? From fully catered meals to convenient ready-meals and seafood barbecues, all you have to do is ask!)

You could also while away some time outside on the furnished decking area, or out in the garden, where you'll find squishy seating galore, sun-loungers aplenty, and a hot tub to help you welcome the sunset in style.

When you're not lazing at your new beach house, why not head onto that golden beach itself? A mere 400-metre walk along a pretty lane, there are plenty of sheltered caves and coastal footpaths to explore if you're not in the mood for lounging or surfing.

Later, take a gentle stroll into Mawgan Porth for shopping, or a slap-up fish-and-chip supper! If you'd prefer something a little more special, there are plenty of fine dining restaurants to spend time in nearby, including Paul Ainsworth at No.6, and Rick Stein's famous Seafood Restaurant.

There's also plenty to sink your teeth into activity-wise, with the local area home to tennis courts, a pitch and putt, and a magnificent 18-hole golf course that overlooks the Atlantic.

However you choose to spend your days, you'll have those wonderful evenings to look forward to all together, as you cradle a glass of fizz by sunset, and marvel at your good holiday fortune!

Things to note

A range of dining packages are available on request - perfect if you don't feel like cooking! Housekeeping is available at an additional cost. Please note that the owners live in separate accommodation at the rear of the property, this will not affect your stay.
