Located on the long sand-and-shingle Seasalter Beach, just a short stroll from Whitstable, you can view plenty of lush Kent countryside from the rear, while from the front, the soothing vista of the Swale Estuary and Whitstable Bay awaits – an ideal landscape for would-be painters!

This is the perfect coastal retreat for couples in search of a peaceful break by the sea, without the bustle of tourist activity. A charming chalet-style beach house, you’ll feel immediately at home as you explore the light, open-plan living space.

Soft-toned, nautical-inspired décor welcomes you as you explore your new holiday home, with steps that lead you to the entrance and decking area. Cosy sitting and dining areas make for the ideal catch-up spots as you cradle a drink and gaze out to sea, with central heating to warm you in colder weather.

On sunnier days, why not relax in a deckchair in your private beach garden or curl up with a good book on the raised decking, as seagulls caw overhead?

A galley kitchen contains everything you need to prepare seaside snacks – or if you prefer, you can fire up the barbecue to accompany that glorious blazing sunset. The campfire area is the perfect setting for a dessert of toasted marshmallows, too.

When you’re ready to turn in, you’ll find a cosy double bed in a dedicated sleeping area that offers beautiful sea views as you open your eyes. You’ll find curtained space for a cot if you’re bringing a smaller guest with you.

Enjoy fresh morning coffee and a hearty breakfast as you watch the sun rising over the sea and plan your day ahead. You may feel as though leaving your coastal bolthole would be a shame, yet if you do, you’ll find plenty of ways to spend your holiday time.

The popular resort of Whistable is just a short stroll away, complete with independent boutiques to browse through, restaurants to dine in and a busy fishing harbour to wander by.

If you enjoy walking and/or birdwatching, this is definitely the place, particularly with Saxon Shore Way and Oare Marshes Reserve so close by – don’t forget to pack your binoculars! If you’re feeling adventurous, why not try kayaking in the bay?

Michelin-starred gastropub The Sportsman is the ideal place for a celebratory meal, and why not indulge in Seasalter’s famed fresh oysters?  Further afield, a short drive will take you to the history-steeped cathedral city of Canterbury.

Pets are not permitted, cot and highchair provided on request. No smoking. Weekly cleaning service is provided for stays of longer than one week. Laundry service is available on request.

Low Season October – March daily rate £150 and weekly rate £715 High Season April – September daily rate £160 and weekly rate £780.  Minimum stay 2 nights.  2 week stays receive a 50% discount off the second week.
