Spring is just around the corner, bringing longer days streaked with early sunshine – a perfect time to revel in the Great Outdoors!
You’ll be in good company, too. Roused from its long winter slumber, nature starts to bloom in springtime. Perfect for meandering strolls through meadows teeming with bluebells and daffodils, or lunchtime picnics sheltered by sweet-scented, blossom-covered trees.
If all that sounds appealing, here’s some good news: each retreat we’ve listed here is rich in spring floral magic, with seasonal scenery you’ll want to capture forever (so don’t forget your camera, sketchpad or easel).
Maybe you’ll row on a shimmering lake, Wordsworth-style, or wander through captivating walled gardens that sing with life and colour. Go forest-bathing, foraging, or simply roll out a blanket in the midst of enchanting, wildlife-steeped woodland… all with the curiosity and comfort of an unusual retreat to unwind in later on.
Better still, each property owner has described exactly what level of spring flora you can expect, so it’ll be temptingly easy to pluck your favourite from the list.
