Perfect for couples who want to escape the world, Wilding Wagon is perfectly secluded on a private, two-and-a-half-acre field that soars over the surrounding countryside, almost 1,000 feet above sea level.
Nestled at the southern end of the Radnorshire hills, with both the Black Mountains and the Brecon Beacons in ridiculously easy reach, this is a dream setting for those who want to reconnect with the natural world… as well as each-other.
Owners Adam and Lis converted their beloved wagon themselves, on land they have gifted back to nature. Not only have they planted over 2,000 trees, but they’ve also encouraged wildlife to grow and thrive. So your stay will involve plenty of beautiful sounds, scents and sightings, from sorrel and foxgloves to red kites and hedgehogs.
As if that wasn’t quite enough, the Wilding Wagon itself is filled with cosy comforts and thoughtful attention to detail that means all you have to do is breathe out and relax.
Rescued from a heritage railway, you’ll find the wagon cleverly positioned on rails, in proud homage to its history. A generous 35 feet long, you’ll also have plenty of space to stretch out and unwind in! Simply light the woodburner to feel perfectly snug.
Blissfully without digital distractions – you’ll find no TV or Wi-Fi here – you’re free to pour a glass of wine and get lost in conversation, or crack open a board game from the selection provided. You’ll also find cards, books, and even a Bluetooth speaker to help you set the right background mood.
Generous facilities include a well-equipped kitchen and a sumptuous bathroom with a rainfall shower and an eco-friendly compost loo… as well as butter-soft towelling robes, towels, and flip-flops that mean you can pack perfectly light.
