Secluded on a friendly working farm just outside Dartmoor National Park, is Wilderhus – a tranquil eco-glamping escape that promises to restore your mind, body, and soul amongst nature.

Completely surrounded by lush, rolling Devon hills, each of the off-grid retreats you’ll discover here boasts plenty of private, wide-open space… not to mention its very own Scandi-style wood-fired hot tub (available at an extra cost), to help you welcome the sunset and stars in appropriate style.

All you have to do is choose your favourite. For starters, the combined, charming treehouse-and-shepherd’s hut sleeps a total of six guests… four in the hut and two in the treehouse, for those with more of a head for heights! Relax on the tree-deck or out on the lawn, getting lost in laughter-fuelled conversation to a gentle soundtrack of wildlife.

Fancy something just a little more groovy? Fresh from the Swinging Sixties, the gleaming American Airstream is light-filled and lovely; solar-powered and delightfully furnished with bespoke pieces expertly crafted from maple wood.

Sleeping up to four guests, you can cook inside or out on the sleek Morso barbecue grill, where you’ll also find plenty of seating for relaxed, scenic al fresco dining.

Two homely shepherd’s huts complete the beautiful picture at Wilderhus. Boasting intricate woodwork and all-natural materials (including the paint that decorates them), one four-person hut occupies an entire field to itself; overlooking the forest, valley, and stream in a tableau of rural bliss.

The second hut, Dingle Glenn, sleeps up to three guests. A rustic wooden haven that offers plenty of creative inspiration from unspoilt nature, you’ll feel as though you’ve left all the stresses and strains of ‘real’ life far, far behind.

What the guests of Wilderhus Glamping say

“Wow wow wow! What an absolute incredible place. I would come back here in a heartbeat. Thank you so much”

“What a beautiful and unique experience. Exactly what I was hoping for, the photos don’t do this place justice. The views from the place are breathtaking. The calm and the peacefulness of Willows waggon will be hard to forget. Inside it had everything you could possibly need. Thank you.”

This place is simply ‘heaven in Devon’ and an absolute gem of a find. Such a wonderful and peaceful location away from the busyness of the world, and the bees leave you feeling immersed in nature; it’s such a calming setting, the perfect place to escape the hustle and bustle. The facilities are fantastic: such a comfortable bed, allowing for a blissful nights sleep, the hot tub was an absolute treat and wood burner kept the place nice and cozy. We didn’t leave for 3 days! We will most certainly be booking again, and have already recommended it to friends.”
