Weirglodd

- Minimum stay: 3 nights
“Weirglodd” is Welsh for meadow – an apt name for a quirky bolthole with lush green views all around.
Built right into a hillside, the cosy pod is imbued with a welcoming feeling of home, and is particularly perfect for couples or small families (and their beloved pets!) who love to lace up their walking boots and explore the Great Outdoors.
After a long day out, chat together in the comfy seating area… or on sunny evenings, head for your private al fresco space, equipped with a firepit for stargazing and storytelling. The sheltered area is home to a hot tub, a kitchen, a wood-burning stove, and even a TV!
When it’s finally time to turn in, choose from two snuggly kingsize beds. Each comes with its own shower room, for freshening up at your leisure.
If it’s a rainy day, there’s a communal games room on site with a pool table, table football, and plenty of space to curl up with a good book – or chat to friends you haven’t met yet.
Otherwise, take the refreshing circular walks on site, stroll into Clogaenog Forest, or head to Snowdonia National Park and get lost in the breath-taking natural landscape. The bustling town of Ruthin is close by, too, or enjoy watersports at Bala, in a naturally invigorating break that has a little something for everyone.
