A stylish barge moored at Lancashire’s picture-perfect Glasson Dock Marina, you can savour serene river views from the furnished deck, or watch TV in a reclining armchair, by the lounge’s inviting log-burner… your choice.

You’ll also have two sumptuous double beds to choose from, sleeping up to four guests in total – and since well-behaved pets are welcome, nobody has to stay at home. 

Facilities-wise, there’s a stylish shower room with portholes, and a gorgeous galley-style kitchen that comes equipped with gleaming appliances and scenery-showcasing windows.

Once you’ve settled in, it’s time to explore the area.  Why not start with a stroll around the marina, or a visit to the intriguing, chapel-like Glasson Dock Lighthouse?  There are some welcoming pubs on hand, too, if you’d rather someone else took care of the holiday cooking!

There’s plenty to see and do in bustling Lancaster nearby, or spend a breezy day on the beach at Morecambe.  And of course, you’ve got the Forest of Bowland to explore; a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty that boasts a wild boar park and exceptional stargazing.
