You’ll find Cosy Camping nestled on a friendly working arable farm in rural Suffolk, which has been owned and run by the friendly family owners for generations. Here, golden sunsets linger over lush green fields that seem to stretch out forever, in a soul-stirring rural setting.
Cheerful and welcoming, the campsite itself is home to grass pitches and facilities for you to pitch your own tent in style. Though if you don’t feel like doing that, you can choose from a selection of comfy furnished retreats – the most unusual of which has to be The Silo!
A former grain silo, the cosy circular living space features a well-equipped kitchenette with an air fryer and a combi microwave (yes, there’s a kettle and toaster too) along with a squishy sofa bed, a table and chairs, and a DAB radio to help you set the perfect musical mood.
There’s also an invigorating shower, and toasty underfloor heating to help cooler evenings feel ridiculously snuggly.
Feel like catching up on your favourite shows, or simply catching some much-needed slumber-time? Head up the curved staircase to discover a huge beanbag, a downy kingsize bed, and a Smart TV – ideal for lazy holiday lie-ins.
There’s an al fresco seating area with a firepit, too… well, since you’re on a campsite it’s essential that you toast marshmallows and tell giggle-fuelled stories under the stars! You’ll also be able to welcome the sunrise with a steaming mug of coffee, to a glorious soundtrack of birdsong.
If you’ve brought the family with you, the site is also home to a collection of homely, furnished wooden pods to choose from. The Cosy Pod sleeps up to four guests, and the Cosy Family Pod up to six. In the mood for a little more luxury? The Cosier Pod comes complete with full kitchenette and en-suite facilities, plus a TV and underfloor heating.
