Ideal for a refreshingly rural romantic break for two, the Showman’s Wagon is a stylishly renovated 1950s travelling van taken straight from the fairground!
Nestled in a stunning woodland location that overlooks the Mawddach Estuary in the glorious Snowdonia National Park, North Wales, this retro-styled van is adorned with extravagant décor, vibrant colours, show memorabilia, and comfy furnishings that will make you feel completely at home from the moment you arrive.
Central heating will keep you perfectly toasty as you relax in the 33 square-metre living space, including a lounge with a squishy sofa and a warming woodburning stove. Ideal for cosying up with a glass or two of wine by evening!
A well-equipped galley kitchen and dining area provides a suitably romantic setting for mealtimes, while a deliciously cosy double bed is ideal for endlessly lazy lie-ins. Meanwhile, a bright and indulgent shower room is the perfect freshening-up spot after a hard day exploring the local area.
Outside, North Wales is your oyster! Your privately enclosed garden overlooks the Mawddach Estuary, providing the perfect spot for morning coffee over sunrise, or a soothing snifter over sunset. Why not fire up the barbecue and enjoy a sizzling al fresco supper?
With bike rental available on site, exploring the area on two wheels is effortlessly easy. Begin by whizzing through the Mawddach Trail, a winding 9.5 mile route that runs along the disused railway track on the southern edge of the Estuary – stunning scenery guaranteed!
Discover plenty of delights in the nearby market town of Dolgellau, just four miles from the Showman’s Wagon. Here you’ll find a tasty tapas restaurant, a renowned wine bar and plenty of independent shops.
