Ever fancied taking over an entire pub with your favourite people?

Nestled in the historic Peak District village of Hope, The Poacher’s Arms is an award-winning pub and restaurant conversion that promises the best lock-in you’ve ever experienced!

Magnificently spacious, there are nine double ensuite, Freeview TV-equipped bedrooms, and three cosy bed settees that sleep up to 30 in total, so you won’t have to strike any names off the guest list.

There are plenty of family-friendly elements too, with some of the bedrooms featuring extra bunks. There’s also a fun selection of games, and an enclosed children’s play area to keep the kids safely occupied, as you settle yourselves in and catch up over welcome drinks.

Of course, a pub isn’t a pub if it doesn’t serve food, so you’ll find a generously equipped modern kitchen to help you prepare epic feasts to enjoy at the dining table (though there’s a gorgeous patio and barbecue waiting outside, if the evening sun happens to be shining!)

After dinner, relax in one of two large and comfy Smart TV-equipped lounges – you could designate one for ‘movie night’ and one for the big match if you so wish! – as you top up those tipples in the original, fully operational bar in between. Simply contact the owner in advance of your stay to pre-order kegs of your favourites at cost price.

Don’t fancy the lounge? No problem… you could always unleash your competitive spirit in the games area instead! Complete with table games, table football, a Smart TV with a games console, and a selection of books, there’s a little something for everyone.
