Savour magnificent Cotswolds views from the comfort of an adults-only, off-grid cabin with a stargazing hot tub and al fresco pizza oven, peacefully secluded on a family-run farm.

  • Minimum stay: 2 nights

The Nook at Big Skies is perfectly positioned in a tranquil corner of a family-run farm, to showcase the most spectacular views… both of the idyllic Cotswolds and the vast, star-sprinkled sky above.

Deftly combining home comforts with rustic luxury, the fully solar-powered off-grid cabin is blissfully free of digital distractions, leaving you to reconnect with nature – and each-other – in peace. Warm wood finishes evoke an instantly welcoming atmosphere, while huge windows mean you can keep an eye on that incredible scenery, whatever the weather.

You can also relax in the knowledge that these beautiful surroundings are loved and cared for. Big Skies is a Greener Camping Club-certified site, and for every booking the friendly owners will either plant a tree or an area of nectar-rich grassland.

Off-grid doesn’t mean you’ll have to compromise on holiday facilities, either. You’ll have the choice of cooking inside on the gas hob, or whipping up fresh, mouth-watering pizzas in the outdoor kitchen – perfect on balmy summer evenings! You can even pre-order a ‘make your own pizza hamper’, with home-made dough, fresh mozzarella, and a rich tomato topping.

Later on, why not enjoy a sumptuous hot tub soak under the emerging stars, glass of wine in hand? If you’d rather just sit and chat the night away, no problem, simply light the firepit and sink into the comfy al fresco chairs. When it’s finally time to turn in, a cosy double bed will be ready and waiting in the cabin, just a few steps away.

What to do when morning rolls languorously around? If you can get up early enough, greeting the sunrise with a steaming mug of coffee is sure to count as one of your loveliest holiday memories.

You could also treat yourselves to a delectable pre-ordered breakfast hamper. Sizzle locally-made sausages and bacon on the firepit, or devour just-baked pastries in the morning sunshine, before your morning freshen-up in the piping hot shower.
