A uniquely bespoke retreat inspired by an iconic and much-loved book, you’ll discover The Hobbity Treehouse along a tranquil, softly-lit woodland path, for the ultimate romantic break into Kent nature.
Furnished to make you feel like a classic storybook character, your senses will be joyfully captivated from the moment you slide back the treehouse’s characterful door and step inside.
Here, a whole new world of quirky luxury awaits, with rustic fairytale décor that immediately evokes a cosy feeling of home. There’s thoughtful, well-chosen detail everywhere you look, from the ‘toadstool’ stools and velvet curtains, to the wrought-iron blooms that decorate the banisters.
You’ll find the living space furnished with underfloor heating, a log-burner and a snuggly, butter-soft sofa, and there’s a gorgeous mini cook range – plus a microwave – to help you whip up second breakfasts galore.
Grab a bottle of wine from the cooler and get lost in giggle-fuelled conversation here for a while, or wander outside to the spacious, split-level seating area.
You could light the firepit, toast some marshmallows and say hello to the twinkling stars, or take a long, languorous soak in the hot tub – whichever option takes your fancy the most!
When it’s finally slumber time, take a few steps up to the downy kingsize bed, all ready and waiting for you to curl up in. And if you prefer lazy indoor bubble-soaks, no problem, as there’s an indulgent slipper bath, too.

Of course, this could take the form of staying delightfully put in your tree-treat, getting lost in a good book (one with ‘rings’ in the title, perhaps?) or simply relaxing and reconnecting with the one you love the most.
The Blean Woods National Nature Reserve is practically on your doorstep, where you can embark on peaceful, winding trails through ancient oaks… see if you can spot a woodpecker or a nightingale.
In the mood for something a little more contemporary? Both Whitstable and Canterbury are close enough for immersive day trips of shopping, coffee-and-cake-stopping, sightseeing, and beach-going.
