Outside, meanwhile, await a wealth of open terraces, for scenic chats over late-afternoon cocktails, and a glistening swimming pool bordered by native flora and fauna. What the guests of The Hidden Villa say

“The Hidden Villa (Villa Escondida) is a sanctuary of nature & modern luxury up in the hilltops of Benahavis. The double bedroom downstairs was very restful, with the softest bed & linens. My favourite element being the revelation of the forest views with the remote controlled blinds! The villa has expansive spaces indoor & outdoors for all groups, with many areas to socialise or have alone time. All modern amenities have been well thought out & so many personal touches throughout. The pool area has an amazing view, my favourite time is in the mornings when you may glimpse the Atlas mountains beyond. I would recommend for families & adult groups, every generation is catered for. We will be back again soon.”

“We had a stay which ranged from the peaceful lifestyle of this Modernist designed villa with amazing views of the wooded hills to the facilities of the region on our doorstep. The modernism gives impressive functionality of the villa with its wonderful kitchen and dining areas. The sympathetic design is integrated into the surrounding nature, distinguishing it from much of the traditionally styled developments in the Marbella Hills. From our base we trekked down to the town of Benahavis with its many restaurants and up to the Moorish castle on the ridge above. There are marked trails throughout this area of natural beauty. We played at the nearby Marbella Club Golf Club and dined twice at its excellent restaurant. We had a choice of routes down to the coast with all that the resorts have to offer. Including the enormous departmental store, El Corte Ingles at Puerto Benus. It was a real pleasure to arise to the views and sounds of the forest. From this vantage point you can see southwards to the coast of Africa whilst lounging by the pool. This place is away from it all but not far.”

“Wonderful visit to Villa Escondida during October Half-Term…stunningly beautiful location and an absolute feast for the senses… the pines and the lavender smelt amazing! Perfectly built for enjoying stunning views and a gorgeous aesthetic throughout the villa. Fabulously equipped indoor/outdoor kitchen which was a joy to cook in and all round beautiful surroundings to spend quality time with family and friends. Lovely heated pool with brilliant floating chairs – the children adored them! Great location for walking in the surrounding hills and a short drive into Estepona which is a very pretty seaside town. We had a really special time!”
