With ample, versatile space both inside and out – and the opportunity to add a keg of refreshing local ale to the pumps! – this is a break that can be tailored to suit just about every holiday taste, for joyful memories that will last a lifetime.
The enormous ground-floor is home to the original bar: an ideal social-spot, especially if you fire up the wood-burning stove and point any competitive types in the direction of the games room just a few steps down.
You’ve also got the option of sinking into a leather sofa and catching up on life all together; favourite tipple in hand and safe in the knowledge that you can refill your glasses in an easy instant!
Planning a celebratory banquet? No problem – there’s a gleaming fitted kitchen with plenty of mod cons for cooking, and a vast, wow-factor dining space to break bread in, complete with the original Cruck’d beams and locally-crafted oak furniture.
If you’re reluctant to leave after dinner, you can turn the dining space into a cinema-room with premieres screened on the 72-inch wall-mounted TV (just add popcorn!)
Sun still shining? The paved terrace is ideal for sunset-watching, or head across to the large garden, with plenty of space for laid-back barbecues… or simply letting the kids and dogs burn off some energy before bed.
