The luxurious cottage is peacefully located in historic Whitby, within the private, gated grounds of Airy Hill Manor. Relax and savour all that blissful seclusion, whilst enjoying achingly close proximity to both the bustling town centre, and the vibrant, sweeping heritage coast.

Inside awaits just the kind of holiday comfort you surely deserve, with an array of sensory delights that include bespoke hand-crafted furniture, 600 thread count bedding, and a gorgeous roll top bath to sink into after an energetic day at the seaside!

The open plan living and dining area is the perfect place to chat with your loved ones as you cradle a glass of wine, with plenty of squishy seating, a Smart TV, and a gas-fired stove to keep everybody toasty.

Meanwhile, the well-equipped kitchen space is a chef’s dream, with its gleaming marble work surface, induction hob, and double oven waiting for you to whip up all manner of holiday feasts. There’s also a dishwasher to help with those after dinner clear-ups, and a Nespresso coffee machine to super-charge your mornings.

For those who don’t like or can’t use stairs, there’s a superking or twin bedroom on the ground floor, complete with a Smart TV, gorgeous solid wood furniture, and views to Whitby Abbey… along with a handy downstairs loo.

Head up to the spacious landing area, where you’ll discover a bookcase stocked with board games and books, with a desk and a comfy leather chair – ideal if you’re feeling inspired to start that best-selling novel you’ve always wanted to write!

There’s a double bedroom on this floor too, with a huge walk-in wardrobe, bespoke furniture, and a Smart TV. The aforementioned rolltop bath is upstairs too, in the opulent bathroom that also features a shower, a heated towel rail, and immaculate, high-quality fittings.

On sunny evenings, why not head outside to the garden area, where you’ll find a stunning wooden table and chairs for al fresco suppers, or for chatting comfortably with a post-dinner tipple, all the way into the star-sprinkled night.

After a sound night’s sleep, simply fire up that Nespresso machine and plan out the day ahead. With Whitby town centre and the beach both a simple stroll away, it’ll be easy for everyone to do just exactly what they like.

If you’re in the mood for travelling slightly further afield, the ancient town is surrounded by the spectacular countryside of the North York Moors National Park… perfect for an invigorating, mind-clearing walk, before returning to your stunning Gatehouse to enjoy another soothing sunset with your loved ones.
