A captivating retro colour palette ranges from soft ice-cream hues to vivid seaside blues and greens, while beach-themed accessories add a playful sense of fun.
Sleeping up to five guests, the retro-style living space features a pull-out sofa bed for a single guest, with a TV to keep you all entertained on sociable evenings in (you’ll have great Wi-Fi, too).
There’s a charming kitchenette with everything you need to whip up hearty meals and snacks – including that all-important holiday essential: a microwave! – and a dreamy private courtyard to lounge in.
The two themed double bedrooms, meanwhile, are both genuine talking-points, complete with custom-crafted beds and unique local artwork. All you’ve got to do is decide which is your favourite!

Prefer something a little more… aquatic? The wonderfully kitsch Mermaid Room boasts a plush carpet-rug and a sumptuous shell bed to make you feel like Ariel or Neptune, rising gloriously out of the spray.
You’ll also have an indulgent shower room to freshen up in, complete with gleaming tiles and fluffy towels, to help you prepare for the coming day’s adventures!
What those will be is anyone’s guess really, since you’ll have so many to choose from. Take a breezy walk along the beach (or tackle the Viking Coastal Trail if you fancy something a little heartier), or browse an endless array of independent boutiques and galleries in the quirky Old Town.
Iconic local hotspots include the Turner Contemporary, the captivating Shell Grotto, and the recently-restored Dreamland, with its vintage rides and regular programme of events.
Of course, there are plenty of cafés, bars, and restaurants close by too, including the award-winning Buoy and Oyster… which is conveniently located right below your Courtyard Suite!
Things to note
You will have to climb two very steep flights of stairs to reach the apartment, so regrettably it is not suitable for guests with mobility issues. Check in from 3pm – 10pm, check out by 11am. Pets are not permitted. Strictly no smoking, either in the apartment or out on the courtyard.
