Styled with dreamlike indulgence in mind, The Cabin is an idyllic escape for couples in need of blissful reconnection – with nature and each-other.

You’ll find the dog-friendly glamping cabin secluded on an award-winning Amber Valley retreat, in a wildflower meadow that thrives with natural life. Watch red kites soar into the sky, surrounded by sweet-scented spring blossoms, or relax in the summer sunshine to a gentle soundtrack of bees and birdsong.

Even when it’s raining, the cabin’s expansive glass doors mean you won’t miss out on those endless, breath-takingly beautiful Peak District views. Meanwhile, toasty sheep’s-wool insulation will keep you warm on cooler evenings spent snuggled up in front of the Smart TV.

Owners Amanda and Martin have thoughtfully provided everything you could possibly want or need, so all you’ve got to do is relax. There’s a kingsize bed dressed in luxury linen bedding, a lovingly handcrafted kitchen, and an en-suite shower room with designer fittings, fluffy bathrobes, fine toiletries… even a Dyson hairdryer.

Wander outside to be greeted by a dining deck that’s perfect for long, lazy lunches or dreamy suppers by sunset, and a lawned cottage garden. There’s also a sunken outdoor bath for stargazing, and a firepit for storytelling later on. Just add a glass or two of Prosecco: a chilled bottle of which will be waiting in your deliciously indulgent welcome hamper.

What to do after a sound night of slumber? Welcome the new day with a Nespresso coffee – pods provided – out on your deck, though if you can manage an early start, watching the sunrise from that glorious outdoor bath is an unmissable treat. Breakfast ingredients are included in your welcome hamper, so you can feast on hot, buttered sourdough toast, fresh eggs (from Amanda and Martin’s free-range hens) and fresh orange juice completely at your leisure.

Ultra-fast internet is provided if you really must catch up on life back home… but otherwise, why not choose a favourite book from the cabin’s shelf, then curl up with it in the hammock?
