What the guests of The Bothan at Mackay’s say
“Recently enjoyed a two night stay at the Bothan at Mackays. It was amazing! Just me and my dog, travelling through the highlands and this was a beautiful place to stop. Fab location, just a few minutes from the local beach. Lots of beautiful beaches and scenic drives nearby. The very well equipped SPAR shop and petrol station are handy to have so close by.”
“Finished to a very high standard, with lovely luxury touches like Portmeirion crockery, lambswool throw and luxurious bedding. The bed is huge and extremely comfortable! Great shower too. The fresh flowers, fruit and candle were nice additions and much appreciated. All in all, a fabulous stay! Would highly recommend!”
“We stayed in the Bothan for one night on our NC500 tour. It was immaculately clean, warm, well equipped and in a fabulous location. We knew what we were getting – a converted container but it was a great change, and much better than some tired old hotel room that we could have chose around the driving route. Bought fresh croissants and cappuccinos in the Spar for breakfast in front of the cabin and sat on the deck in the sunshine overlooking the sea – idyllic.”
