Sleeping up to 18 people, and beautifully positioned between the rivers Orwell and Stour on the Shotley Peninsula, The Suffolk Skytower is the perfect setting for that once-in-a-lifetime break in the Suffolk countryside.

Standing proudly at 80ft, you can expect breathtaking views from the octagonal 80ft tower…and that’s just the beginning.  Accommodation is generously spread over seven floors, with a stunning roof garden you really won’t want to tear yourselves away from.

You’ll discover all manner of delights as you enter the tower and explore each floor, beginning with the imposing hallway and kitchen area at ground level.  

With three ovens, two freezers and a washing machine, you won’t have to worry about catering for your group! The sociable dining table is a wonderful setting for everyone to break bread, drink wine and catch up on life. On sunnier days, throw open the French doors and enjoy home-mixed cocktails in the garden.

The first floor comprises a luxurious living area complete with pool table, while the next three floors are home to three bedrooms apiece, making this the ideal holiday home for all kinds of groups.

The top floor is home to a grand, high-ceilinged games room, featuring a Nintendo Wii and a Sega Megadrive and two separate TV screens. There’s also a theatre-style cinema room with lit-up steps, and a karaoke machine for budding X Factor contestants!

If you’re in need of some quiet time, take the stairs from the games room and head up to that amazing roof garden. The viewing platform is an ideal spot for Instagrammers, and you’ll find plenty of comfy seating for reading, chatting and daydreaming alike.

If you decide to escape from your tower at any point, you’ll find plenty to see and do in the surrounding area. Walking and cycling enthusiasts are in for a treat, with plenty of river routes to explore, while the plethora of well-stocked farm shops is sure to satisfy the most discerning foodie!

The famed Jimmy’s Farm and wildlife park is close by, with plenty of play areas for the kids. Meanwhile, Shotley Marina in Harwich harbour is a fantastic relaxation spot, at the point where the River Stour meets the River Orwell. Sit back and watch the boats glide by, over a well-deserved spot of lunch.

Whatever you’re celebrating, make it extra-special by heading up to the roof garden by sunset, equipped with a few bottles of champagne.
