From the creator of the world-famous Pink House comes Starseed House – a private riad-retreat so boldly creative and colourful, that some people have struggled to believe it’s real!

Yet like all forms of magic, Starseed House is best experienced in person. Enticingly set just moments away from Marrakesh’s famous spice market, the palatial, private riad is a love letter to the beauty and wonder of Morocco, and a reminder that seeing can be believing.

Designed and built in partnership with top Moroccan artisans, here awaits a multi-level rooftop for sun-soaked afternoons and star-studded evenings alike. There are two uniquely-styled double bedrooms, and a lounge with seating that cleverly transforms into two single beds, sleeping up to six guests in total.

Said lounge – the Palm Room, to be exact – boasts delights that include delicately embroidered and sequinned wall panels, a handmade shag carpet, and a custom-crafted, colour-shifting glass ceiling for added opulence. Oh, and on the reverse side of the room is a mini-fridge, a Nespresso machine, and a Sonos sound system to help you set the perfect background mood… all deliciously hidden away in bespoke cabinetry.

The breath-taking, pink-and-gold Moroccan Princess bedroom took an incredible two years to complete; skilfully hand-painted in traditional Zouak style and featuring a custom Hollywood-style mirror vanity for guests who demand showstopping glamour! The second double room, meanwhile, is a multi-coloured haven of comfort, with tassels and pompoms creating a playful retro feel that’s perfect for vintage enthusiasts.

Bedroom claimed, it’s time to relax on that glorious multi-level rooftop awhile. Adorned with painted ceilings, cosmic murals, and cosy seating (choose your favourite seating look from tropical or leopard print), there’s also a sumptuous, selenite-fronted fireplace to warm soft-glowing, star-filled nights of conversation and laughter. Even the floors are veritable works of art, with golden-hued glitter that gleams under the Moroccan sun, and painted galaxy swirls to stir your senses.

Simply wandering from room to room is a genuine pleasure; via charming spaces filled with colour, carved doorways, and fine, exquisite accessories that include gilded mirrors and a wall of lanterns that complement the sunset-fired sky to perfection.
