Awarded the title of European Capital of Culture in 2019, Matera is a south Italian village whose historic and beautifully preserved cave village – known as the Sassi quarters – is a designated UNESCO World Heritage site.

Sextantio Le Grotte Della Civita comprises 18 cave rooms and suites, and a former church as a candle-lit dining area. Located in the oldest and most fascinating part of the Sassi, here is your setting for a truly unforgettable stay.
