As unlike a standard ‘holiday bus tour’ as it’s possible to get, Scarangar Private Bus was created to unleash the curious adventurer in everyone, personally introducing guests to Cornwall’s most magical nature-spots.
Just grab your favourite people and get ready to enjoy a whimsical escape aboard a vintage British double-decker bus, beautifully renovated and exclusive to you and your guests.
Up to ten people can come along for the ride… and don’t worry, no-one has to be the ‘designated driver’! You’ll find the bus parked at Lime House Yoga Studio – a purpose-built yoga studio and campsite with tranquil gardens and the most incredible views to Holywell Bay. In fact, if the scenery looks familiar that might be because you’ve seen it before… in Poldark or Game of Thrones.
Not only will you have direct, discounted access to the site’s innovative yoga timetable and wild spa experience for the most invigorating sauna of your life, but some of Cornwall’s loveliest beaches – including Newquay and Perranporth – are within ridiculously easy reach.
(Prefer a more nomadic kind of holiday? No problem… you can always opt for a chauffeured coastal tour instead, with one night spent at Lime House Yoga Studio and the rest at other beautiful locations dotted along the North Cornwall coast).
Committed to sustainability, you’ll find Scarangar have equipped your freshly-painted, Scandi-inspired bus with re-used and upcycled materials wherever possible, along with eco-friendly products that promise to make your holiday’s carbon footprint refreshingly light.
However, none of this means you’ll be light on comfort. For starters, there’s a comfy eight-bed dorm on the lower deck. Each individual sleeping pod features a single foam bed, a USB socket, an LED bed-light… and the essential blackout privacy curtains.

You’ll have individual storage space, too – though it’s recommended that you don’t pack everything but the kitchen sink! There’s one of those in the well-equipped kitchen, also on the lower deck. And with a welcome hamper of food essentials all ready and waiting, you can keep your luggage to a minimum.
Meanwhile, there’s plenty of space to catch up all together on the roomy top deck (where the cool kids always sit). Festooned with squishy couches, pillows, and soft blankets, it’s an ideal viewing platform… once you’ve made yourself comfy, we defy you to tear yourselves away!
Here you can crack open a board game, open a good book, or set the perfect background mood with the DAB digital radio provided – your choice. There’s additional bunk-space for two more guests, too, with the same amenities as you’ll find downstairs.
What else? There’s a large awning and a portable barbecue for al fresco summer feasts, and a fun selection of outdoor games to help you work off the calories later on. There’s even a local activities menu to peruse, too, so you’ll stay inspired and energised all holiday long.
Things to note
Regrettably, pets are not permitted. Please note that the buses are currently not wheelchair-accessible, or suited to guests with reduced mobility. Please note that there is no Wi-Fi or TV on board the buses (though we doubt you’ll miss them!) Please bring your own towels. Toilet and shower are not on board the bus (there is a hot/cold outdoor shower), but guests have the use of freshly built showers and toilets just around the corner from the bus.
