As unlike a standard ‘holiday bus tour’ as it’s possible to get, Delabole Vintage Bus was created to unleash the curious adventurer in everyone.
Just grab your favourite people and get ready to enjoy a whimsical escape aboard a vintage British double-decker bus, beautifully renovated and exclusive to you and your guests.
Up to ten people can come along for the ride… and don’t worry, no-one has to be the ‘designated driver’! You’ll find the bus parked in Delabole, a charming Cornish village steeped in slate-mining heritage, perfectly placed for exploring the dramatic North Cornwall coast, sandy beaches and picturesque fishing villages.
Committed to sustainability, you’ll find the owners have equipped your freshly-painted, Scandi-inspired bus with re-used and upcycled materials wherever possible, along with eco-friendly products that promise to make your holiday’s carbon footprint refreshingly light.
However, none of this means you’ll be light on comfort. For starters, there’s a comfy ten-bed dorm on the lower deck. Each individual sleeping pod features a single foam bed, a USB socket, an LED bed-light… and the essential blackout privacy curtains.
You’ll have individual storage space, too – though it’s recommended that you don’t pack everything but the kitchen sink! There’s one of those in the well-equipped kitchen, also on the lower deck.
Meanwhile, there’s plenty of space to catch up all together on the roomy top deck (where the cool kids always sit). Festooned with comfortable seating areas, it’s an ideal viewing platform…either to watch the TV provided for late night entertainment, or to admire the views! We guarantee once you’ve made yourself comfy, you won’t want to tear yourself away!

Here you can crack open a board game, open a good book, or set the perfect background mood with some music of your choosing. There’s additional bunk-space for two more guests, too, with the same amenities as you’ll find downstairs.
What else? There’s a large picnic bench and a portable barbecue for al fresco summer feasts, and a fun selection of outdoor games to help you work off the calories later on. There’s even a local activities menu to peruse, too, so you’ll stay inspired and energised all holiday long.
Things to note
Pets are permitted to stay. Please note that the buses are currently not wheelchair-accessible, or suited to guests with reduced mobility. Please note that there is no Wi-Fi or TV on board the buses (though we doubt you’ll miss them!) Please bring your own towels. Guests have the use of fshowers and toilets just around the corner from the bus.
