The brainchild of architect Steven Holl, Rhinebeck House is an eco-friendly, open plan retreat set within preserved woodland in New York’s Hudson Valley.

The house is part of a non-profit art initiative that funds a gallery, an architecture fellowship, and a sculpture trail, so you can feel proud that your stay will directly contribute to keeping the arts alive and well.

Sleeping up to four guests, this amazing house really has to be seen to be appreciated!  Geometrically designed, the creative, immaculate interiors will leave you open-mouthed. Meanwhile, geothermal heating and cooling systems let the house breathe in natural harmony with its surroundings.

There are four Japanese futons for you to rest your heads on by night, with a wood-burning stove to help keep you toasty, and a charcoal barbecue for sizzling suppers.

Though you’ll be a mere two hours from New York City, and just 45 minutes from some of the area’s finest ski resorts, you may just decide to wrap yourselves in the amazing sense of calm to be found at Rhinebeck House, and stay delightfully put.
