A soothing selection of individually bespoke hand-crafted off-grid wagons, peacefully secluded amongst four acres of idyllic North Norfolk countryside.
  • Sleeps: 2 per wagon
  • Bedroom: 1 per wagon
  • Bathroom: Communal bathhouse
  • Minimum stay: 2 nights

Each of the four hand-crafted wagons you’ll discover at Prairie Skies was personally constructed by the site’s friendly owners, Nick and Maddie, themselves. Using locally sourced timber and many beautiful reclaimed materials.

As such, you’ll find each boasts its very own charm and personality… so much so that you may find yourselves booking visit after visit, just to try them all out!

The site’s dreamlike location is bound to win you over, too. Comprising four beautiful, tranquil acres of North Norfolk countryside, it’s also a pet and child-free zone – all perfect conditions for leaving the hustle and bustle of everyday life far behind.

As for the wagons themselves, simply choose your favourite mood. Burning Desire Wagon is brooding and distinctive; crafted from black timber cladding that uses an ancient Japanese wood-preservation technique.

Planning to create beautiful memories? Exotic and irresistibly bohemian Varada Wagon is the ideal romantic retreat. It’s name means ‘the giver of blessings’. You’ll find The Cedar Wagon joyously quirky, boasting cedar-shingle cladding and a private porch with vintage cast iron tractor seats.

And last but by no means least, The Green Wagon offers a sumptuously cosy setting for you to complete your digital detox. With no Wi-Fi on site, all that’s left to do is pour another glass of wine, and marvel at the beauty of that smouldering sunset.

Whichever retreat you choose, you’ll find it adorned with butter-soft furnishings, vintage décor and lovingly hand-crafted elements… and a wood-burning stove to cast a warm, hazy glow over snuggly evenings in.
