Ideal for a small family or a group of friends (four-legged friends included), Phoenix Star Bus is a first-class retreat in the form of an expertly converted single-decker bus.

Parked in the Devon coastal village of Goodrington – which boasts not one but three sandy beaches – there’ll be plenty for everyone to do, right on the doorstep.  Yet once you’ve boarded Phoenix Star Bus, you may not want to get off!

Superbly styled and furnished, there’s a laid-back retro feel to the welcoming interior, while kids of all ages will love sitting in the driver’s cab.  Comfy seating and modern facilities, such as toasty underfloor heating, mean you can relax in cosy comfort.

Such facilities also include a piping-hot shower, and a handy kitchenette to help you rustle up all manner of on-board catering.  Ideal on balmy summer evenings, there’s even a barbecue on hand for sizzling al fresco suppers.

Why not linger outside awhile as the stars appear in that clear night sky, open a bottle of fizz, and savour a soothing dip in the four-person hot tub… complete with bubbles and colour-changing lights?

When it’s finally time to turn in, the double bedroom and a comfy double sofa bed will be ready and waiting to help lull you into a sound night’s sleep.

What to do once you’ve woken up?  If the sun is shining, starting the day with coffee in your private garden, to a gentle soundtrack of birdsong, will help relax and prepare you for all those fun adventures later on.  Oh – and there’s ample outdoor space for children and dogs to exert plenty of playful energy, too!
