Beautifully located on the border that links Somerset, Devon, and Dorset, Hinton Hideaways boasts a selection of adults-only, south-facing escapes that feel like home… with idyllic countryside views, abundant wildlife, and a woodland sauna to relax in!

Their newest addition is Owl Cabin, a sumptuous couples’ retreat, crafted from silvered wood and a shingled roof that melt effortlessly into the mesmerising woodland backdrop.

Step inside the spacious, light-filled retreat, to discover an elegant blend of quirky upcycled furnishings, with luxuries that include a soft-glowing log burner, a fully equipped kitchen, and an opulent rain-head shower.

The cosy lounge is perfect for unwinding together in front of the TV with a glass of wine, or simply enjoying a good book from the leather club chair.

If you really must catch up on work, there’s even a handy desk and Wi-Fi that can be used for sending those important emails – though be warned, you may find the rolling, uninterrupted country views from the window to be a little distracting!

Rustle up country feasts in the aforementioned kitchen, which comes complete with a hob, oven, and those all-important holiday essentials, a microwave and dishwasher… or head out to your private garden, and fire up the barbecue instead.

While you’re outside, it would surely be rude not to welcome the sunset with a dip in your wood-fired hot tub, so why not pop open a bottle of bubbles and relax until the stars come out?
